Happy December everyone!  Here are a few photos of Santa from our Memories with Santa Day.  Santa Wayne rocks by the way!   I bet you didn’t know Santa drives a Dodge! 

I also wanted to let everyone know that holiday deadlines are here!  Yes, that means if you haven’t ordered your photos for Christmas presents or just simply for you to have before the holiday then you MUST order by Friday December 2nd, 2011!  Orders made after this date will be charged a $25.00 rush fee for holiday delivery.  Happy December everyone!  And if anyone wants to do all my shopping and put up my Christmas tree just let me know!

We took a family trip to Chicago recently and I took a few fun images of my guys!  Here are my little men!

My oldest turns 10 today!  I can’t believe how fast the time has gone!  Avery, you are simply the sweetest, kindest, most caring person I know.  I’m so thankful God gave me you.  Have the best birthday ever little man.  Mama loves you!

Wow, I cannot believe it’s that time again!!  But the air is getting cooler and there are pumpkins in the stores!!  We just went to the Pioneer Orchard this week and got a TON of pumpkins for the upcoming annual Halloween Charity event!  I think this is our 6th year!!  Seriously, time just flies by!  This year we are going to have the cutest outdoor fall set for all our little ghosts and goblins to be photographed in front of.  For those of you who are new to Photography by Carrie, Halloween Charity Day is a day where you can bring 2 or more canned items per child and you will get a FREE 4×6 image of your child in his/her Halloween costume!  All the canned food will be donated this year to local food pantrys.  There’s no need to book a session, just bring your little trick-or-treater and your non-perishable food items to the studio on Saturday October 22nd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.   Please call the studio if you have questions at 573-803-0565.  All children will be photographed in costume.  Additional A La Carte orders will be 50% off. 

For those of you who missed the first few photo 101 classes there will be ONE more class offered for 2011!!  My Photo 101 class is a beginner course on how to use your digital SLR (DSLR) camerea on MANUAL!  Yes, no more green box!!  No matter if you’re Canon or Nikon, you’ll leave here with the tools and knowledge you need to take better photos of your kids, grandkids, your family and your pets.  I’ll even teach you a little about how to take better photos on vacation!  Please come with knowledge of what your camera buttons do–READ THE MANUAL please before you come to this class.  I also ask that you come to class with three questions for me.  There will be live shooting time and one on one questions and answer time.  This class will fill up quickly and only has 7 spots remaining!  The class will be held here in the studio on September 28 from 5-7 p.m.  The cost for this class is $99.00 and you can hold your spot by calling the studio 573-803-0565.
