category: Small Ones

So we’ve had a ton of calls from clients who missed our Chicks and Bunnies Limited Edition Day last week.  SO, since I don’t want any of my sweet little ones to miss out on the fun of playing with the little bunnies and chicks, I’m opening up a day just for those who missed.  This will be a no appointment necessary, walk-in only event.  It will begin at 12 noon on April 5th and end at 6 p.m. that day.  Just dress up your little one and show up anytime between those hours of 12 and 6 to get them photographed for Easter.  Collections start at only $25.00!  Please call the studio if you have any questions about this fun Easter event!  573-803-0565

And this sweet little face reminds me of how swiftly time moves.  This little one is 3 years young and full of so much life and curiousity.  She has the entire world ahead of her and much living to do.  So today I am reminded to be curious and stop to smile at the smallest of happenings.  Because no matter your age, we should all look at the world through the eyes of a child.   Much love…

Wow, Easter is swiftly approaching and we are now booking for our annual Chicks and Bunnies Limited Edition Day!  This year Chicks and Bunnies will take place Saturday March 17th and you’ll have plenty of time to get your portraits in by Easter.   This day always books up quickly so call the studio as soon as you can to book your appointment.  There will be lots of Easter sets to choose from and of course we’ll have chicks and bunnies too!  Collections starting at $75.00.  Call 573-803-0565 to book your session.

So much fun here in the studio lately!  Here are a few photos from this past week!  Enjoy!

Yeah, I love this one.  I just do.

This little precious one was four days old when he came to have his first portrait session.  He was absolutely perfect!

So wow, things here are spinning!  We’ve had so much happen here at the studio — too much to explain all in one post–and I feel like I’ve really neglected one of my favorite things…writing on this blog.  So today I’m going to take the time out of the crazy tea cup ride I’m on and just allow you to see all the amazing beautiful lives that have been in the studio this summer.  It’s a wild ride and at times scary, but it’s my ride and I wouldn’t have it any other way!  Thank you all for making it such a fabulous summer and for sticking with me through it all!!   So as we all return to the routine of school and work, here’s a look at some of the memories made this summer.

So so many more to post but I think that’s enough sweetness for today.  More to come!  Happy end of summer everyone!

I’ve had the opportunity to photograph this tiny beauty ever since she was one year old and now she’s turning four.  Miss Reyna has a special place in my heart.  Since coming to see me, she’s moved to Texas and on to Indiana and she’s still coming back to Cape to see me and let me take her photographs.  She’s just stunning and this time she brought me a new addition, her baby sister, Miss Landyn.  Oh my, seriously these two babies are beyond gorgeous!  Their eyes are so distinct and so absolutely breath taking.  Dad, I’ve got just one piece of advice–take lots of martial arts classes now!  Thanks so much for allowing me to photograph your amazing family!  I look forward to seeing you again soon.

Miss Landyn, her baby sister.  See the resemblance.

Reyna now!   Simply beautiful!

And she’s a girly girl, gotta love that!  She loved wearing all the petti skirts.  A girl after my own heart!

And one last image of the two beauties together!  Thanks girls for coming to see me!

This little beauty just makes my heart melt and puts a huge smile on my face.  Miss Clara, you know how to light up a room!  Happy Birthday!

So the craziness of the holidays is starting to fade and I find myself having some brief moments of reflection on all the amazing sessions I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of this year.  It’s easy for me to get wrapped up in the day to day hustle and bustle and sometimes I forget how much I love what I do.  I forget to take the time to be inspired, to take the time to review what beauty life has brought to me.  I find myself wrapped up in the madness of shooting, getting orders in, getting packages shipped and simply not paying attention to all the awesome “stuff” .  This little girl came in last week and as I was sorting through her images I fell in love all over again.  I adore the two images below and wanted to share them.  I think many of us can lose ourselves in one way or another.  So today I ask you to stop, reflect on the things you adore and fall in love with them …all over again.

Those eyes.  Stunning!
